Get Carded: Welcome Home

Hello! A brother who'd been hospitalized for several weeks was finally deemed well enough to return home. Being the nice sister that I am (well, sometimes, at least!), I made a greeting card to honor the occasion and sent it to him.

Materials used:

• white card stock
• piece from vintage atlas
• blue art paper scrap
• bird image stamped in blue ink onto vintage wallpaper scrap
• solid dot image stamped in blue ink onto paper with the letter "A" on it (initial of my brother's first name)
• "WELCOME HOME" stamped in blue ink onto ledge paper scrap

Kind of a simple card, but I didn't think my brother would want one with a frilly look to it. 

This card expresses a simple sentiment but important sentiment: he's finally home after a long hospital stay. And for that I am very grateful!
